About Me

Marjorie Mesidor is the Founding Partner and Chief Visionary Officer of Mesidor PLLC. She is a distinguished attorney with over 20 years of experience advising organizations and individuals on complex employment, labor, consumer law, and compliance matters.

At Mesidor PLLC, Marjorie leads a dynamic firm that consults and provides premier fractional General Counsel services. Her strategic practice serves a diverse portfolio of clients across the medical, education, not-for-profit, and governmental sectors. She also selectively partners with private companies that place a special emphasis on fostering thriving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Beyond her executive counsel, Marjorie is a highly sought-after neutral in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She proudly serves as an Arbitrator on both the Employment and Consumer Law Arbitration Panels for the American Arbitration Association (AAA) for over five years. Drawing upon her expansive consumer law experience and her deep background in complex litigation, she adeptly adjudicates intricate disputes, bringing fairness, clarity, and decisive resolution to high-stakes proceedings.

As a forward-thinking leader, Marjorie hosts the Executive Risk Consortium on a quarterly basis. This premier think tank convenes top industry leaders to actively workshop cutting-edge risk management, optimize public relations balancing, and cultivate enduring corporate goodwill.

Her extensive legal and advisory background includes seven years serving as Chief Counsel to the President of Project Hope: The New Direction. Additionally, she has held prominent roles at highly respected law firms, including Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP and Wigdor LLP. Marjorie is deeply experienced in navigating executive compensation, severance negotiations, and intricate contractual employment issues, as well as developing in-service education programs and anti-discrimination policies.

A committed advocate and community leader, she actively shapes the future of the legal and local communities. Marjorie serves on the Advisory Board of the New York University Labor and Employment Center and the Cornell Center for Innovative Hospitality Labor and Relations Employee Representative Advisory Board. 

She is also a recognized legal voice, having appeared as a Guest Legal Correspondent on platforms such as Fox News, CNN, CourtTV,  WPIX Morning News and iHeart Radio.

Marjorie earned her J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and holds a B.A. in International Relations, Economics, and Italian from Franklin College Switzerland. She is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, and before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Bringing a global perspective to her executive counsel, she communicates fluently in English, French, and Creole.

For seven years was the Chief Counsel to the President of Project Hope: The New Generation, a not-for-profit organization. Experience in in-service education programs, compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory and employment laws; education law, premises liability matters, investigations, anti-discrimination policies and procedures trainings.
